The office of the Indian High Commission has announced the much awaited details of the next Vande Bharat Mission repatriation flight to New Zealand just now.
The next Auckland to New Delhi flight has been scheduled for August 25 at 09.00 am.
Releasing a social media post, the office of the Indian High Commisson announced the next flight under the fifth phase of the Vande Bharat Mission.
The social media post also announced the schedule of the incoming flight from New Delhi, which will be departing on August 22, raising much hopes to hundreds of stranded Kiwis in India to return back home.
Notably, earlier this month two flights were announced and schedueld on August 8 & 13, before being postponed.
The Indian High Commission had then assured that they will come again with teh details of reschedueld flights.
Today's announcement is being seen as a continuation from that earlier postponement of the two flights.
It is not yet clear that there will be another, or more flights in this fifth phase of Vande Bharat Mission.
The social media post also announced that the High Commisison's office is still waitinhg for details from Air India and will inform the public soon about the details for ticket purchase.
The approximate airfare is suggested to be around NZD $2480.
