3 cups of water ( 600ml )
1 cup green peas
1 can of baby corns – cut in small pieces
1 small onion finely chopped
1 tsp crushed garlic paste
50ml cream
2 tsp butter or meadowlea spread
½ cup – croutons ( bread crumb pieces )
Salt to taste
Take a pan and add the 3 cups of water along with green peas, chopped baby corns, garlic, onion and salt. Bring the water to a boil and simmer till the ingredients are tender( usually 10 minutes).
Cool and use a mixer/blender to make a smooth puree’.
Pour the puree’ back into the pan and bring it to a boil and add cream just before serving. Add croutons to garnish.
Serve hot – will serve 3 persons.
