New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday invited Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari to watch the high-voltage semifinal match of the ICC Cricket World Cup between the two South Asian rivals at Mohali on Mar 30.

In what is seen as a cricket diplomacy, the PM invited the two top Pakistan leaders to watch the match which he himself has expressed desire to watch, media reports said.

India has issued a large number of visa to the Pakistani citizens to watch the encounter of the two cricket rivals of the Subcontinent.

India will issue 1500 visas more to Pakistani cricket fans taking the total number of visas for the visitors to 6500, reports said on Friday.

India beat Australia in the quarterfinals to set up a semi-final face-off with Pakistan.
