NZ businesses urged to participate in Indian expos

The Commerce Section of the High Commission of India in New Zealand
welcomes participation in a number of trade fairs due to be held in
India in the coming months.
Some of these that may be of particular
interest to businesses in new Zealand are listed below.

International Jwellery Show (IIJS 2009) Mumbai, August 6-10
IIJS showcases the vast range of India’s production of gems and
jewellery items to more than 25,000 trade visitors from India and
abroad. The show will have on display (i) precious metal jewellery both
plain and studded (ii) loose gemstones including diamonds (iii) costume
fashion jewellery (iv) jewellery making machineries (v) gems and

Fourth Sports Goods & Physical Fitness Equipment Exhibition (SGPFEE) New Delhi, October 3-6
The event will showcase achievements and technological advancements
made by India covering a wide range of products and services related to
sports goods and physical fitness equipment industry. The sports goods
industry’s 60% production is being exported to various countries
including UK, Australia, USA, France, Germany, South Africa, New
Zealand, Italy, Canada, etc. The quality of sports goods produced in

Delhi International Leather Fair (DILF), New Delhi, October 23-25
The
17th Delhi International Leather Fair (DILF), is a unique show
dedicated to leather and leather products from India. The show will be
oriented to facilitating the exhibitors and buyers in opening new
channels for trade in leather products, with an accent on footwear and
components. As a specialized event, DILF has become a highly favoured
