4- Potatoes (large and peeled)
3tbs- Spring onions chopped
2tbs- Chana Flour ( Besan)
2tbs- Onion grated
1tbs- Lemon juice
Salt according to taste

Grate the raw potatoes and put them in a sieve for straining.
Beat egg in a bowl and add spring onions, flour, onion, lemon juice and salt.
Squeeze out any water from the potatoes and stir them also into the egg mixture.
In a fry pan heat oil and drop potato mixture by ½ cup at a time.
Flatten each fritter into 3- inch rounds.
Cook the potato fritters from both the sides and serve hot with chutney.
